A Senior Product Designer is needed to lead the end-to-end design of an AI-driven platform that simplifies car ownership. The role focuses on transforming complex data around insurance, safety, and repairs into clear, user-centered experiences through wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI design.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to identify user needs, streamline information-heavy interactions, and build designs that deliver measurable impact.
- Develop user flows, wireframes at various fidelity levels, interactive prototypes, and final user interfaces for core product features across web and mobile platforms.
- Lead UX initiatives for challenging problems by designing intuitive workflows that make managing a vehicle straightforward and seamless.
- Use user research, behavioral analytics, and experimentation to guide design choices and test the effectiveness of solutions.
- Partner with fellow designers to refine and expand the design system, ensuring consistency and advancing design quality across platforms.
- Apply artificial intelligence thoughtfully to enhance clarity, personalize content, and automate key aspects of the user journey.
Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating strong user experience thinking, data-informed design decisions, and clean, user-friendly interface work.
- At least five years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products for mobile or web, either in-house or at an agency.
- Proven track record simplifying complex data sets and product requirements into clear, elegant user workflows.
- Experience working alongside product managers and engineers to define project scope, prioritize features, and iterate rapidly.
- Proficient in Figma and experienced with rapid prototyping tools to clearly communicate design concepts.
- Familiarity with design systems, including how to maintain and evolve them for scalability and consistency.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation
Starting pay will be within the range listed on the job posting, determined by job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. Equity grants may be included as part of the total compensation package. Pay ranges are subject to change based on market dynamics.
Team
The product team includes 11 product managers, 55 engineers, and 12 analysts or data scientists, with a growing design team. The design function reports to the Head of Design and operates within a product organization that integrates PMs, engineers, data scientists, and designers.
