Societe Generale is hiring a Product Designer to create intuitive, scalable user experiences for SocGen AI's artificial intelligence products. In this role, you will be involved from ideation to delivery, considering business, technical, and regulatory demands to build responsible and useful solutions for banking business processes.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end user interfaces and journeys, covering research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery.
- Translate product vision and business needs into concrete, accessible solutions.
- Define and maintain scalable design systems aligned with the SocGen AI Design System.
- Create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and iterate rapidly to test concepts.
- Conduct user research through interviews, testing, and surveys to identify real needs.
- Analyze usage data and field feedback to continuously improve experiences.
- Collaborate with product, tech, and business teams to co-build product vision.
- Facilitate design and product framing workshops.
- Write clear specifications and work effectively with developers, demonstrating solid HTML and CSS skills.
- Present design solutions to stakeholders, explaining choices and impacts.
- Apply responsible AI and accessibility principles to all interfaces.
- Actively contribute to product vision and roadmap through PI Planning, backlog refinement, and story mapping.
- Help define OKRs and analyze adoption and retention metrics.
- Design intuitive experiences for SocGen AI solutions to be deployed across group entities.
- Integrate SocGen AI solutions within business processes, considering local specifics like business context and governance.
- Contribute to the drafting and application of AI Design Patterns and responsible AI principles.
What We're Looking For
- 3–8 years’ experience in product design, covering some or all of: UX design, user research, UI design, Design System use, project management, and front-end specifications.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and a good understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS) to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Matomo) and OKR definition to monitor product impact.
- Initiative, result-oriented, curious, creative, and a willingness to take risks.
- Collaborative mindset, team spirit, and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Professional behaviour, sense of responsibility, rigour, and a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and thrive in a demanding and constantly evolving environment.
Nice to Have
- Practical experience designing complex user journeys in a banking or regulated environment.
- Passionate about AI and language models (LLM).
- Ability to lead projects independently, considering business challenges, while seeking feedback and collaborating with experts.
- Maintain high design standards, understanding the trade-offs inherent in product strategy.
