Axelera AI is looking for a Processor Verification Engineer to join the team responsible for verifying our in-house designed RISC-V based AI Processor Core and its sub-components. Your role will be critical in achieving the highest level of quality and performance in our products.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute verification plans for Processor units.
Design and implement constrained random testbenches for the processor core.
Collaborate with architecture, RTL design, and compiler teams.
Perform functional, performance, and stress testing on processor units.
Develop and maintain test scripts and automation tools.
Identify and debug issues, providing detailed reports.
Drive the development of processor verification methodologies.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure verification milestones are achieved.

What We're Looking For

A degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a relevant discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC or FPGA verification, with a strong focus on processor verification.
Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++ or Python for designing testbenches and test cases.
Understanding of verification flow for creating verification plans and coverage metrics.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, shell, or Tcl for automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working with a team spread across 15 countries.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with processor architecture, RTL design, software, and compiler teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with processor models such as Spike and QEMU.
