Axelera AI is looking for a Processor Verification Engineer to join the team responsible for verifying our in-house designed RISC-V based AI Processor Core and its sub-components. Your role will be critical in achieving the highest level of quality and performance in our products.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute verification plans for Processor units.
- Design and implement constrained random testbenches for the processor core.
- Collaborate with architecture, RTL design, and compiler teams.
- Perform functional, performance, and stress testing on processor units.
- Develop and maintain test scripts and automation tools.
- Identify and debug issues, providing detailed reports.
- Drive the development of processor verification methodologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure verification milestones are achieved.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC or FPGA verification, with a strong focus on processor verification.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++ or Python for designing testbenches and test cases.
- Understanding of verification flow for creating verification plans and coverage metrics.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, shell, or Tcl for automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with a team spread across 15 countries.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with processor architecture, RTL design, software, and compiler teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with processor models such as Spike and QEMU.
