Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the long-term architectural direction for critical systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Assess and propose core technologies, design patterns, and engineering practices to support sustainable growth.
- Convert complex and unclear challenges into defined technical strategies, evaluating tradeoffs and guiding solution development.
- Lead enterprise-level efforts to enhance system performance, security, observability, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with product, design, data, and other disciplines to ensure technology aligns with business goals.
- Decompose large-scale, multi-team projects into executable plans and oversee execution from inception to delivery.
- Support the technical and strategic development of senior, staff, and early-career engineers through mentorship.
- Promote a culture emphasizing engineering quality, deliberate design, thorough code review, and ongoing learning.
- Provide technical guidance during architecture reviews, design sessions, and cross-team technical discussions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership and stakeholders across functions.
