Responsibilities
- Define technical scope aligned with project deliverables and key milestones
- Lead architectural decisions for platform initiatives including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, DevSecOps, AI integration, and developer experience
- Ensure high standards in code quality, system design, and overall technical direction across engineering teams
- Design and maintain robust delivery infrastructure such as reliable pipelines, drift-free IaC systems, and accessible cloud-native environments
- Advance observability practices by implementing comprehensive metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting solutions
- Develop platform engineering programs like self-service tools, developer platforms, and automated policy enforcement
- Incorporate AI and large language models into development workflows with sustainable, well-structured designs
- Identify potential technical risks early and communicate them proactively to prevent project delays
- Contribute to scoping sessions and architecture planning for new and ongoing client engagements
- Lead or support Platform Dojo sessions, coaching client teams on agile and modern engineering practices
- Experiment with new ideas, embrace rapid prototyping, and validate concepts through proof-of-concept projects
- Act as the primary technical liaison for the workstream, collaborating with client engineering leadership on strategy and risk
- Spot opportunities to enhance engineering culture, delivery efficiency, and technical standards, then lead improvement efforts
- Support business growth through participation in sales discussions and statement of work development
- Mentor engineers by pairing on challenges, conducting architecture reviews, and providing growth-focused feedback
- Break down complex initiatives into clear, actionable work items for team execution
- Recognize and escalate expansion opportunities to sales teams while validating scope of work proposals
- Create reusable accelerators based on insights gained during client engagements to improve future projects
