Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation and integration of an open-source headless CMS such as Strapi, Payload CMS, Directus, or KeystoneJS to serve as the foundation for content management.
- Establish clear criteria for selecting a CMS, focusing on extensibility, plugin availability, support for multiple tenants, role-based permissions, and API efficiency.
- Drive the customization strategy to adapt the selected CMS to support multiple brands with distinct requirements.
- Design a component-driven, multi-brand architecture based on the chosen headless CMS platform.
- Develop a 'Core Engine' that enables shared, high-performance components across all brands while preserving individual brand identities.
- Address the 'Parent-Child' deployment model by creating a system that propagates global campaigns to regional instances with localized adjustments and inherited SEO rules.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to define a global content delivery and deployment strategy.
- Define infrastructure requirements including Edge Computing (ISR/Edge Functions), Web Application Firewall (WAF), and layered caching (Redis/CDN) to achieve sub-second Largest Contentful Paint worldwide.
- Design a translation workflow that leverages large language models for context-sensitive, natural translations.
- Implement an AI-powered quality assurance system that automatically validates pages for SEO compliance and UI consistency before publication.
- Enhance the CMS admin interface with a lightweight, high-performance visual editor that integrates seamlessly without impacting frontend performance.
