Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Principal Data Scientist to lead the design and implementation of machine learning and statistical models for audience measurement and targeting in digital advertising. You will shape the future of campaign performance and strategic decision-making for top brands.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement advanced audience measurement metrics leveraging ML algorithms, surveys, and experimental data.
- Lead the development of predictive models for audience targeting and campaign optimization across digital and social platforms.
- Collaborate closely with engineering to deploy scalable solutions within production systems.
- Ensure data quality and model robustness through comprehensive testing and validation.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- Drive survey-based research methodologies to inform measurement strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on digital advertising and predictive modeling.
- Proven track record of building reach metrics and deploying models for campaign planning and evaluation.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data science methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python (or R) and SQL.
- Degree in a quantitative field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience with Spark, survey research, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS or GCP.

- $175,000 to $225,000 (NYC-based candidates)
