What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement backend services that power automated workflows
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand operational constraints
- Diagnose and resolve system bottlenecks in production environments
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards
- Optimize system performance and reliability under variable loads
- Design APIs for internal and external service integration
- Work closely with frontend and data teams to deliver end-to-end features
- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning multiple system layers
- Contribute to deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale backend systems
- Strong proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or equivalent
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools
- Solid grasp of database design and query optimization
- Ability to debug and profile complex production systems
- Track record of delivering software in agile environments
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Willingness to engage in client-facing technical discussions
