LVT is seeking a Prime Sales Trader to fill a senior-level position focused on strategic client advisory. You will assist clients in raising capital, provide advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, and act as a key intermediary in trading.
What You'll Do
- Market execution capabilities, contribute to team strategy, and deliver a high level of customer service.
- Develop new relationships, cement current ones, and share existing relationships with colleagues.
- Cross-sell into Swaps, ETFs, Prime Brokerage, and Derivatives, offering clients full sales trading plus trading coverage.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policy.
- Lead strong governance and controls.
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance.
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, supervision, expense discipline, and ethics.
- Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role, including the firm's Code of Conduct.
- Obtain and maintain all required registrations/licenses within the appropriate timeframe.
What We're Looking For
- 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships, from acquisition to ownership of prominent institutional accounts.
- Knowledge of equity trading, different trading strategies, equities, the marketplace, and market issues.
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Proven negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree preferred.
- Fluency in additional languages desired.
Team & Environment
Works in coordination with the Institutional Banking team.
