Requirements
- Demonstrated experience using quantitative methods to develop, implement, and manage Python-driven data science models for pricing, promotional strategies, or commercial decisions in retail or online retail settings
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for end-to-end data workflows, including extracting, transforming, modeling, and analyzing large-scale datasets independently
- Background in designing and evaluating pricing or promotional impact using experimental methods like A/B testing and quasi-experimental designs, with adaptability to data limitations and incomplete controls
- Applied knowledge of pricing principles such as price elasticity, discount strategies, promotional effectiveness, and incremental lift, prioritizing practical direction over theoretical perfection
- Track record of converting analytical findings into clear, strategic recommendations, clearly communicating business implications, risks, and decision tradeoffs to executive-level audiences
- Ability to work autonomously in uncertain or fast-paced environments, exercising sound judgment, effective prioritization, and a focus on execution
- Strong problem-solving abilities combined with business acumen, enabling independent management of complex measurement challenges from initial framing to final delivery
- Collaborative experience working across data, pricing, finance, and engineering teams, balancing analytical depth with real-world business constraints

- Experience guiding pricing strategies in global or multi-regional retail or e-commerce contexts, including managing regional price differences or localized promotional campaigns
- Knowledge of competitive pricing data sources, including techniques for validating, normalizing, and filling gaps in external price benchmarks
- Proven collaboration with pricing, finance, or commercial strategy teams to support decisions around margins, contribution, or profitability
- Experience creating reusable analytical systems or standardized measurement approaches that support scalability
