The Pillars: Chiesa is looking for a Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can learn, explore, and grow. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your creativity, compassion, and leadership will shine daily.
What You'll Do
- Lead engaging lessons and activities like storytelling, music, arts, and discovery play that promote whole-child development.
- Foster a nurturing classroom culture where children feel loved, valued, and supported.
- Model faith-based values and positive behavior while guiding routines and expectations.
- Adapt instruction to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Partner with families to ensure smooth daily transitions and maintain open communication.
- Promote healthy habits like hygiene, nutrition, and self-care.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Meets HHS and DFPS caregiver qualifications, including age, background check, medical clearance, and annual training.
Nice to Have
- Previous teaching or childcare experience.
- Early Childhood Education coursework or certification.
- Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
- A valid driver’s license, especially if transporting children.
