About the Role

The consultant will work closely with the sales team to provide technical insight during client engagements, helping to position security offerings effectively and drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer objectives and security challenges
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client environments
  • Assess client security requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Develop proof-of-concept designs and configurations for prospective clients
  • Respond to technical queries during the sales cycle
  • Participate in requests for proposals and vendor selection processes
  • Translate complex security concepts into business-relevant terms
  • Support the creation of customized solution proposals
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security evaluations as part of pre-sales activities
  • Stay current with evolving security threats and technologies
  • Work with engineering teams to communicate customer feedback
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on technical discussions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
  • Assist in defining scope and pricing for security services
  • Engage in post-sales handover to implementation teams
  • Attend industry events and client meetings as a technical representative
  • Prepare and maintain demonstration environments
  • Document client interactions and technical findings
  • Ensure compliance with security standards during solution design
  • Coordinate with partners on joint solution delivery
  • Use threat modeling techniques during pre-sales consultations
  • Apply secure architecture principles in proposed designs
  • Support the development of marketing collateral with technical input
  • Train sales staff on technical aspects of security offerings
  • Monitor competitive landscape and adjust positioning accordingly
