Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is seeking a seasonal Pool Server for its stunning 9th floor outdoor pool with downtown views. You will be central to creating a memorable guest experience by providing exceptional food and beverage service as part of our Hyatt Hotels Corporation portfolio, a company recognized on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests at the 9th floor outdoor pool, recommend and serve food and beverage creations.
- Provide 5-star service to create an unforgettable guest experience.
- Maintain thorough menu knowledge to answer guest questions and sell food and beverage options.
- Serve guests and residents, engaging in casual conversation on the pool deck.
- Work as a team player, partnering with pool bartenders and pool hosts to exceed team and customer service goals.
What We're Looking For
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fun, fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
- Thorough beverage knowledge and a desire to stay current with cocktail curation and innovation.
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment in spring and summer conditions.
- Current Food Handlers and TABC Certifications are required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules that include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a luxury or upscale boutique hotel or resort environment.
Team & Environment
You will partner directly with pool bartenders and pool hosts and report to the Food and Beverage leadership team. The hotel features a stunning mid-century modern hexagon design and reflects what’s next in fashion, design, music, and gastronomy.
