Jabil is looking for a Senior Platform Security Engineer to execute the implementation of our modular security stack. You will develop high-quality firmware and enable seamless interoperability between different Root of Trust hardware.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain modular device drivers and security applications.
- Perform low-level board bring-up for RoT microcontrollers, configuring Pinmux, SPI, I2C/I3C, and GPIOs.
- Bridge RoT and BMC development efforts, implementing secure inter-subsystem communication (MCTP/SPDM) and coordinating integration of RoT security features into BMC management interfaces.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Embedded Systems or Firmware Development.
- Strong proficiency in C is required.
- Hands-on experience with Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or similar real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, I3C).
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with OpenBMC.
- Experience with Rust (or a strong willingness to learn).
- Familiarity with SPDM/MCTP protocols.
