We are searching for an accomplished Platform Engineering Lead to conceptualize, design, and advance a state-of-the-art internal development platform (IDP) that enables developers to concentrate on creating core business solutions. Accountabilities - Direct the conceptualization, architecture, and progression of the internal development platform (IDP), ensuring strategic alignment and developer requirements. - Construct, coach, and direct a high-performance cross-functional team, cultivating collaboration, technical mastery, and continuous learning. - Advance Platform Engineering principles, including self-service empowerment, complexity reduction, and a product-centric approach to internal tooling. - Propel implementation and refinement of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices, utilizing ArgoCD for declarative Kubernetes deployments. - Supervise containerization and orchestration via Kubernetes, ensuring scalable, resilient, and portable cloud-native applications. - Engage with security and SRE teams to integrate security, observability, and compliance into platform operations. - Optimize platform performance, cost-effectiveness, and resource allocation across multi-cloud environments (Azure and GCP). - Collaborate with product, architecture, and development teams to gather requirements, align roadmaps, and ensure platform adoption and success. Requirements - University degree or college diploma in a related discipline. - 5+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles, including 2–3 years in a Platform Engineering capacity. - Profound expertise with public cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) including compute, storage, networking, and serverless services. - Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes, containerization technologies (Docker, Helm), and managing production clusters. - Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and tools such as ArgoCD. - Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash). - Hands-on experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions (DataDog, OpenTelemetry). - Strong understanding of cloud security, DevSecOps, and embedding security best practices in workflows. - Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic problem-solving skills. - Product mindset with a focus on enhancing Developer Experience (DX) and adoption of internal tooling.
