About the Role
This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining platform systems that support engineering teams across the organization. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of core infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable platform solutions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify infrastructure needs
- Maintain and improve system reliability and uptime
- Support deployment pipelines and continuous integration workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level issues
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
- Document architecture and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into the platform
- Work closely with developers to streamline deployment processes
- Monitor system health and proactively address risks
- Contribute to capacity planning and scalability strategies
- Support cloud infrastructure management and automation
- Promote best practices in platform engineering across teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration
- Background in site reliability engineering
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies
