Community Health Network is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team. This role is responsible for interpreting evaluation results, determining patient goals, and developing effective treatment plans. What You'll Do
- Interpret results of initial evaluations, determine appropriate patient goals, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Modify treatment plans as needed and utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques.
- Participate in teaching opportunities and the clinical education of students.
- Contribute to inter-disciplinary program planning.
- Establish and maintain a safe environment conducive to effective team functioning, positive patient outcomes, and personal safety.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- A valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit.
- Experience in an Acute Care setting; new graduate Physical Therapists are eligible.
- Knowledge of anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy techniques, theoretical concepts, current materials, technological advances, and new professional trends.
- Ability to effectively provide quality service to impaired individuals and communicate with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and all internal/external customers.
- A basic understanding of the behaviors, developmental needs, physical needs, emotional needs, and comfort of child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Ability to lift/transfer patients and treatment supply items without restriction.
