ComeOn Group is looking for a PHP Developer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will design scalable features, optimize system performance, and ensure a clean, maintainable architecture for the ComeOn.com platform. You'll focus on backend services and APIs, working closely with a cross-functional team.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust, testable, and scalable backend services using PHP 8.x and Symfony.
- Build and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs that power web and mobile applications.
- Participate in rigorous peer code reviews and contribute to internal coding standards.
- Optimize complex SQL queries and design efficient database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Work closely with Product Owners, Frontend Developers, and QA Engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Occasionally assist junior developers through pair programming and knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3-4 years of commercial experience in PHP (8.x preferred).
- Deep understanding of Symfony (6+).
- Experience in writing unit and integration tests (PHPUnit, Pest, or Behat).
- Practical knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID, and DRY principles.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with ORMs (Doctrine or Eloquent).
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), and basic cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- B2+ level English for effective communication in a global environment.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of Python (e.g., for scripting or supporting data-related microservices).
- Knowledge of Redis or RabbitMQ for handling asynchronous tasks.
- Experience in Microservices or Event-Driven Architecture.
