CVS Health is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. You'll be responsible for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, patient service, and contributing to a safe, inclusive team culture.

What You'll Do

Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
Offer immunizations and other services at the register and over the phone.
Complete basic inventory activities as directed, such as putting away medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, and waiting bin inventories.
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including voluntarily traveling to stores in the market to work shifts as needed.
Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.
Deliver additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing, staffing offsite clinics) where allowable by law and supported by training.
Where permissible, support immunizations by preparing and administering vaccines, educating patients, monitoring for adverse reactions, and managing vaccine supplies.
Complete required company training program and satisfy all state registration, licensing, and certification requirements.

What We're Looking For

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
If state does not mandate a minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age.
If state does not mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled.
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
Attention and focus: Ability to concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, and confirm prescription information and label accuracy.
Customer service and team orientation: Actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner and respond appropriately to patient reactions.
Communication skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication; utilize active listening.
Mathematical reasoning: Ability to use math to solve problems (e.g., determining tablets to dispense, day's supply).
Problem resolution: Identify challenging interactions and choose the best course of action.
Physical demands: Be mobile and upright for extended periods; lift, scan, and bag items; reach overhead; move fingers repetitively; extend arms; control precision; stoop; close visual acuity; occasionally lift up to 20 lbs; frequently lift up to 10 lbs; express or exchange ideas by spoken word; receive detailed information orally.

Nice to Have

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the pharmacy team, reporting to the Pharmacy Manager/Supervisor.
