Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and implementation of the PeopleSoft Person Model, specifically focusing on Person of Interest (POI) and Hire/Rehire workflows.
- Design and maintain solutions using the full PeopleTools suite (Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, and Component Interface).
- Review, modify, and support COBOL programs tied to HCM batch processes. You’ll ensure existing COBOL jobs remain compatible with Person Model enhancements.
- Build and optimize integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems, including Identity Management, payroll vendors, and onboarding tools.
- Evaluate current configurations to recommend scalable implementation approaches and ensure data integrity through expert-level knowledge of effective dating logic.
- Create high-quality technical documentation and provide hands-on training to internal teams to ensure long-term system sustainability.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM, the Person Model, and Fluid UI.
- Mastery of PeopleTools and a proven track record of supporting PeopleSoft Payroll processes.
- Comfortable maintaining and enhancing COBOL programs within a PeopleSoft environment.
- A profound understanding of HR data structures and the nuances of effective dating.
- Experience connecting PeopleSoft to third-party platforms (Benefits, Payroll, IDM).
- The ability to evaluate a "big picture" environment and recommend practical, forward-thinking solutions.
