Responsibilities
- Assisting in pavement design for new construction and maintenance projects across various infrastructure types.
- Working alongside senior engineers, project teams, and other disciplines.
- Offering technical guidance on the properties, performance, and behavior of construction materials such as aggregates, asphalt, concrete, hydraulically bound mixtures, and soils.
- Conducting engineering calculations, analysis, and contributing to technical reports and contract documentation.
- Assisting with on-site activities such as inspections, sampling, or supervision when necessary.
- Interpreting and applying specifications and standards, and addressing project technical queries, seeking support from peers and mentors as needed.
- Utilizing standard engineering tools such as Excel, with potential exposure to data-led analysis and digital tools as experience grows.
- Providing limited CAD support when required, recognizing that drawing production is not a core focus of the role, but CAD experience enhances versatility.
- Contributing to project delivery within agreed scopes and budgeted hours.

Responsibilities
- Support pavement design for new construction and maintenance, assessment, and evaluation work across airports, ports, highways, and related infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, project teams, and other disciplines.
- Provide technical advice on properties, performance, and behavior of construction materials such as aggregates, asphalt, concrete, hydraulically bound mixtures, and soils.
- Undertake engineering calculations, analysis, and contribute to technical reports and supporting contract documentation (e.g. project specifications).
- Support site-based activities where appropriate, such as inspections, sampling, or supervision support.
- Read, research, and apply specifications and standards, and respond to project technical queries, seeking support from peers and mentors where needed.
- Use standard engineering tools such as Excel, with exposure to data-led analysis and digital tools as experience develops.
