Role The Patient Support Specialist will play a critical role in our company's evolution towards value-based care for Latino and underserved communities. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys helping vulnerable patients with empathy and professionalism. The Patient Support Specialist will initially report to the Director of Patient Support. Responsibilities: - Conduct outbound and inbound calls to potential patients to explain services and assist with enrollment or scheduling - Complete short intake forms to accurately collect demographic, eligibility, and clinical information - Schedule patient appointments based on availability, location, and provider match - Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals - Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude - Follow scripts and workflows while personalizing conversations - Document interactions thoroughly in the electronic health record system - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot scheduling issues - Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality standards - Participate in ongoing training and quality assurance sessions Qualifications: - 1–2 years experience in contact center, customer service, or patient access roles - Excellent verbal communication skills - Strong interpersonal and listening abilities - Ability to meet performance quotas - Proficiency with computer applications - Fully bilingual (English-Spanish) required Benefits: - Equity compensation package - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits - 401k - Generous PTO (up to 15 days annually) - $1,000 home office stipend - Provided work equipment - Opportunity for rapid career progression U.S. work authorization required.
