Hourly Rate: $15-$21.67 per hour based on state

Role Overview
Seeking a part-time Academic Performance Support Specialist to help students succeed in the educational acceleration program. The specialist will be the primary academic support contact, ensuring student engagement and academic progress.
This role reports directly to the Program Success Director.
Responsibilities:
- Grade assignments using standardized rubrics and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor and support students experiencing academic challenges
- Communicate student performance, engagement, and deadline information
- Attend weekly virtual class sessions
- Conduct one-hour weekly virtual office hours
- Provide additional student support as needed
- Comprehensively understand program instructional materials
- Participate in training sessions and weekly calibration meetings
- Serve as program ambassador during campus events
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Zoom, LinkedIn
- Ability to navigate digital learning platforms
- Computer access for training and assignment grading
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching assistant or similar educational support experience
- Student/adult coaching background
- Professional work experience
- Second language proficiency
- Commitment to equity and inclusion

Work Demands:
- Remote work from NY or NJ
