Royalty Hospitality Staffing is hiring a Part-Time Data Annotator - Portuguese to support the development of Machine Learning and NLP algorithms. In this six-month contract role with potential for extension, you will be responsible for the accurate labeling and evaluation of text data.
What You'll Do
- Label data sets for accuracy according to established guidelines in Portuguese and/or English.
- Identify and escalate any Personally Identifiable Data (PII) encountered in the data.
- Label, summarize, evaluate, and/or validate multiple sets of customer data.
- Provide creative input data for training next-generation Machine Learning algorithms.
- Communicate effectively with management, project leads, and team members in English.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in native Portuguese AND English.
- Must reside within the United States for the duration of the contract.
- Ability to effectively manage time and consistently meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
- Ability to recognize and annotate PII information in both Portuguese and English.
- Basic spreadsheet capabilities.
- Familiarity with communication tools like Slack.
- Comfort requesting clarification or communicating observed gaps and ambiguities in guidelines.
Nice to Have
- Previous data annotation experience in both Portuguese and English.
Team & Environment
You will be assigned to a team responsible for all Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing anywhere within the United States. The role offers flexible hours.
