Nacar is hiring a Freelance Packaging Production Designer to support a leading consumer brand's packaging team. This remote, fast-paced role focuses on executing light-touch production updates for printed pouches, requiring high attention to detail within a regulated environment.
What You'll Do
- Execute light-touch updates to existing packaging designs, including nutrition panel swaps, dieline adjustments, and regulatory content updates.
- Work within Managed Artworks to manage version control and production files.
- Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain production-level precision and consistency across packaging assets.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in packaging production, preferably within CPG or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Managed Artworks or similar packaging workflow tools.
- Strong understanding of dielines, print production, and regulatory compliance in packaging.
- Ability to work on quick turnaround timelines with high attention to detail.
- Access to necessary design tools/software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with FDA/USDA or other regulatory guidelines.
- Background in working with eco-conscious or sustainable packaging.
