The United Football League (UFL) is looking for a Packaging Designer to join our team. You will assist in the execution and development of graphic packaging designs in alignment with our brand directives. Your role is central to the packaging development process, including PLM administration and production delivery, for all of our brands.
What You'll Do
- Assist with creating graphic art files for all packaging items
- Execute packaging designs for assigned brands
- Ensure accuracy through detailed proofing of art files
- Request translations and create translated art files
- Maintain packaging guides and directives in shared systems
- Organize and archive files in the cloud DAM system
- Create and maintain files in the PLM system
- Maintain a packaging design log, track brand approvals, and collect packaging samples
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including sales, brand management, product, marketing, and design
- Complete all assigned tasks on time
- Maintain timely and consistent communication across teams
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent experience in Packaging, Textiles, Graphics, Product Development, Home Fashions, or Apparel Fashions
- Proficiency in Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Minimum of one to two years of experience in packaging or a related field
- Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, adapt to change, and work proactively under a moderate to high stress level
- Strong written and oral communication skills to report to all company levels and communicate with international vendors
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- A team-oriented mentality
- Proven experience handling time-sensitive projects and meeting deadlines
- Ability to prioritize work and answer questions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem solve and work with minimal daily supervision
- Ability to handle confidential information
