Devoted Studios is looking for an Outsource Art Producer to lead artistic direction and uphold quality standards for our external game development projects. You will collaborate with world-class clients and internal teams to drive creative vision and deliver high-quality assets across a variety of styles and genres.
What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive proposals, bids, and RFPs aligned with client expectations and company expertise.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, clarifying needs and providing expert recommendations.
- Attend client calls to gather scope information and provide clear technical notes to the internal team.
- Collaborate with Business Development and the CEO to finalize bids and manage their progression.
- Own the transition from pre-production to production, ensuring seamless handoff of project details, timelines, and rates.
- Maintain a steady pipeline of projects, ensuring ongoing visibility into status and progress.
- Collaborate with production and leads to enhance service sales, such as offering test deliverables and updating portfolios.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years in a similar Art Director, Lead Artist, or External Development role within the video game industry.
- Demonstrated experience directing and delivering outsourced art across various styles and platforms, including detailed feedback and quality control.
- Strong understanding of game art pipelines (2D, 3D, UI/UX, animation, etc.) and ability to communicate visual requirements clearly.
- Comfortable working with project tracking tools and asset management platforms.
- High level of responsiveness and ownership, with ability to maintain strong client relationships and uphold quality standards.
- Creative problem-solver with a collaborative mindset, able to align artistic vision with client goals under tight timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work partially within PST–EST time zones to ensure alignment with clients and internal teams.
