Responsibilities
- Build and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows in Azure DevOps for PeopleSoft application deployments across all environments.
- Modernize outdated deployment methods by introducing automated, scalable DevOps solutions to enhance consistency and reduce errors.
- Administer and support Oracle PeopleSoft systems, including PeopleTools, Financials, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, and associated components.
- Carry out environment replication, software patching, version upgrades, and configuration tasks with minimal service disruption.
- Create modular and secure Azure DevOps pipelines to handle application builds, code transfers, Data Mover executions, Change Assistant operations, and PUM updates.
- Oversee full lifecycle release management to ensure on-time and reliable delivery of applications.
- Align deployment timelines with development, quality assurance, infrastructure, and business units to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes.
- Maintain structured version control using Git or Azure Repos for all code and configuration assets.
- Enforce standardized practices for code progression, branching models, merge procedures, and approval routing.
- Monitor pipeline execution and system health to detect and resolve issues proactively.
- Diagnose deployment and application failures, conduct root cause analysis, and apply sustainable fixes.
- Ensure all deployment activities adhere to internal security, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Implement secure handling of credentials, role-based access controls, and traceable deployment processes for audit readiness.
- Work closely with technical and functional teams, developers, and business partners to meet project goals.
- Act as a technical authority on DevOps methodologies within the PeopleSoft landscape.
- Lead initiatives to improve automation, streamline deployments, and advance operational performance.
