About the Role
The consultant will lead functional design and configuration of Oracle Fusion Grants Management modules, support integration with financial systems, and ensure alignment with federal and private grant requirements.
Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Oracle Fusion Grants Management modules to meet client specifications
- Analyze grant accounting workflows and recommend system improvements
- Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements with financial systems
- Support data migration activities from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion
- Develop functional specifications for grants setup, award management, and reporting
- Validate system behavior against grant compliance regulations
- Lead user acceptance testing and resolve functional defects
- Document business processes and system configurations
- Provide subject matter expertise during implementation phases
- Assist in defining security roles and access controls for grants data
- Translate business requirements into functional designs
- Support month-end and year-end close processes related to grants
- Create training materials for end users and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
- Troubleshoot issues in grants processing and reporting
- Ensure adherence to federal grant standards such as Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200)
- Work with auditors to demonstrate system compliance
- Participate in agile project delivery cycles
- Review configuration settings for accuracy and performance
- Assist in developing dashboards and analytics for grant monitoring
- Coordinate with project managers on timelines and deliverables
- Evaluate change requests and assess functional impact
- Support post-implementation stabilization and enhancements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle Fusion updates
- Facilitate workshops with finance and grants administration teams
- Ensure data integrity across grants, projects, and accounting modules
