Responsibilities
- Deliver functional expertise and solutions for Oracle Fusion Financials components such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Accounting, Financials Accounting Hub, OTBI, and associated functionalities
- Collaborate with business users to resolve system issues, clarify functionality, and explore expanded use of Fusion Financials capabilities
- Engage with finance and operational teams to assess reporting demands, collect specifications, and map current workflows
- Convert business needs into functional designs, user stories, testable acceptance conditions, and system architecture documentation
- Specify requirements for reports, system integrations, automated workflows, custom extensions, and financial platform enhancements
- Coordinate with technical resources to assist in setup, coding, integration, testing, and rollout tasks
- Take part in Agile rituals including sprint planning, daily check-ins, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings
- Partner with product owners and business representatives to improve backlog elements and ensure clarity, testability, and alignment with strategic goals
- Support all stages of the software development lifecycle, from build and test through user acceptance, deployment, and post-launch stabilization
- Work with stakeholders to design and carry out acceptance testing, verify outcomes, log defects, and confirm fixes
- Examine system logs, diagnose integration failures, investigate data inconsistencies, and coordinate fixes across technical and business teams
- Assist with data reporting, analysis, and on-demand queries using OTBI, SQL, BI tools, and other Oracle-native features
- Help maintain documentation for business procedures, system changes, configuration updates, and support protocols
- Deliver training and guidance to end users on Oracle Fusion Financials processes and system usage
- Support activation of new features, production updates, cloud version upgrades, system migrations, and continuous optimization of the Fusion Financials environment
