Capgemini is hiring an Oracle Database Administrator to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and support of our large-scale enterprise servers. This role is central to our Managed Service, IMS growth agenda, where you will collaborate closely with management to drive optimization and performance.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and partner with the Senior DBA.
- Monitor and optimise memory usage across database systems.
- Fine-tune physical I/O for optimal performance.
- Observe and manage lock activity to ensure stability.
- Ensure efficient database resource utilisation.
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience with Oracle database administration.
- Professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
- Professional experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience working with Linux-based platforms.
- Demonstrable experience in database administration.
- Familiarity with virtualisation technologies.
