Briggs & Stratton is hiring an Operator II to produce high-quality products according to detailed specifications. In this role, you will follow complex, sequenced work instructions and perform multiple job tasks within specified cycle times at various workstations.
What You'll Do
- Follow complex, sequenced work instructions and perform multiple job tasks within specified cycle times at various workstations.
- Perform verification of part numbers, supplier quality, and quality checks to ensure parts meet quality criteria.
- Perform quality checks through the use of multiple tools and record results.
- Reset, re-start, and perform minor adjustments to production equipment as directed.
- Perform required preventive equipment maintenance.
- Read and verify bill of materials (BOMs).
- May require interaction with customers (OEMs).
- Follow all established safety procedures including wearing required PPE and maintaining 5S standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to make metric system conversions.
- Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.
- High School diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- General Education Degree or equivalent education and experience.
Nice to Have
- Previous assembly and/or engine experience.
