GE HealthCare is hiring an Operations Data Analyst to join our Long Term Care Insurance business. In this remote role, you will lead efforts to develop analytical capabilities from expanding health data sources. You will formulate actionable insights with decision-makers and foster creative analysis to improve reporting and understanding of key business drivers.

What You'll Do

• Collect, combine, cleanse, and manage data from various sources.
• Identify trends and patterns in complex datasets, including exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Build and create efficiencies using statistical, database and/or general program languages and tools to meet specific business needs.
• Produce dashboards, including graphs, tables, and other visualizations.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of insurance operations and programs to better understand business needs and drivers and to help make recommendations.
• Carry out statistical research, prototyping new systems, and finding new ways of gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data.
• Consult with internal teams to determine their business needs and to find solutions for them.
• Actively work to identify improvements to internal & external processes, including automation.
• Summarize and present data analysis results for management, including creating presentation decks using PowerPoint or similar tools.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Insurance, or equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields.
• Proficiency in tools and languages such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, and Python or R.
• Experience with relational databases and data analysis techniques.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a data analyst role.
• Ability to be self-driven and work on multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Nice to Have

• Insurance industry or financial services experience.
• A deep interest in problem-solving, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 codes.
• Experience with Azure MLOps.
• Hypothesis testing.
