General Motors LLC is seeking an Operations Coordinator based in the SF Bay Area to develop and maintain the operational processes for our autonomous vehicle testing program. You will ensure safe, efficient, and consistent vehicle deployments by providing day-to-day oversight of testing activities and operator workflows.
What You'll Do
- Develop and refine executable operational procedures and checklists for safe garage operations and operator launch activities.
- Document, communicate, and implement safe driving procedures for vehicle preparation, cleaning, charging, and deployment.
- Roll out operational procedures emphasizing consistency, safety, and readiness for operator activities.
- Train new operators on fleet safety protocols, safe driving practices, and internal process workflows.
- Uphold departmental policies, identify violations, and provide critical feedback and coaching.
- Provide operational oversight on cross-functional testing campaigns, including post-drive analysis and feedback.
- Identify operational issues and inefficiencies and contribute to solutions through updated procedures and improved workflows.
- Support efficiency initiatives by helping drive improvements from identification through implementation.
- Work closely with fleet management and internal teams to support end-to-end safe and efficient operational execution.
- Communicate operational updates, issues, and recommendations clearly across diverse stakeholder groups.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in vehicle operations management, operations planning, project coordination, or related work in a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
- Ability to travel for short periods of time (2+ weeks) to support cross-country campaigns and market expansion.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Tenacious teammate mentality with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
- Resilient and adaptable mindset that views challenges as opportunities.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working in a similar role at an AV (Autonomous Vehicle) company.

- Compensation Range: $65,200 to $117,700
