Learner Education is hiring an Online Business Math Tutor to support high school and college students through personalized, one-on-one remote sessions. You’ll help students build confidence and clarity in Business Math and related subjects within a flexible, contract role. Our mission is to help students from diverse backgrounds reach their full academic potential.
What You'll Do
- Tutor students in Business Math courses from 6th grade through college level.
- Provide tutoring support in related subjects such as Economics and Accounting.
- Deliver flexible, remote tutoring sessions that adapt to individual learner needs.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience.
- Must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years.
- At least 1 year of online tutoring experience.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards.
- Strong subject matter expertise in Business Math.
- Ability to tutor Math subjects from 6th grade through college level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A fast and reliable internet connection.
- A computer or laptop with microphone and camera.
- A quiet and professional home environment.
Nice to Have
- Ability to tutor additional areas such as Economics and Accounting.
- Availability during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET).
- Broader weekday and weekend availability.
- A stylus pen for clear annotations during sessions.
