Learner Education is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Online AP Pre-Calculus Tutor to confidently support students. This is a fully remote contract role with flexible scheduling, allowing you to set your own hours and work from anywhere.
What You'll Do
- Support students in AP Pre-Calculus and related advanced math subjects through personalized 1 to 1 online tutoring.
- Tutor Math subjects from 6th grade through college level.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience.
- Must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years.
- At least 1 year of online tutoring experience.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards.
- Strong subject matter expertise in Math, including AP Pre-Calculus and related advanced topics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Direct, professional teaching or tutoring experience with students (TA, peer tutoring, grader, SI, or lab assistant-only roles do not qualify).
- A fast, reliable internet connection.
- A computer or laptop with a microphone and camera.
- A quiet and professional environment.
Nice to Have
- Availability during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET).
- Broader weekday and weekend availability.
- A stylus pen for clear annotations during sessions.
