About the Role
This position leads commercial outreach for a novel oncology diagnostic platform, targeting oncologists, health systems, and laboratory partners to accelerate access and utilization.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage oncology practices, hospitals, and diagnostic labs to introduce new testing solutions
- Develop strategic sales plans for assigned geographic regions
- Conduct educational presentations on clinical and economic benefits of advanced diagnostics
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in cancer care
- Collaborate with medical science liaisons and support teams for technical discussions
- Track and report sales activities and market feedback using CRM tools
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets
- Represent the company at oncology conferences and professional meetings
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes
- Coordinate with reimbursement specialists to support payer discussions
- Advocate for patient access to innovative diagnostic technologies
- Gather market intelligence to inform product and commercial strategy
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards in sales activities
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and operations teams
- Manage territory planning and call schedules efficiently
- Deliver product training to laboratory and clinical staff
- Support contract negotiations with health systems and group purchasing organizations
- Monitor market adoption and identify expansion opportunities
- Respond to clinical and technical inquiries with appropriate support
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oncology treatment guidelines
