Agilysys is hiring an Office/Sales Administrator

About the Role

This position provides essential administrative and operational support to the sales department, ensuring smooth daily functions and accurate documentation while contributing to team efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming communications including phone calls and emails
  • Support sales team with documentation and data entry
  • Maintain customer records and update databases accurately
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and presentations
  • Coordinate scheduling for team meetings and client appointments
  • Process sales orders and track fulfillment status
  • Handle office supply inventory and reordering
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems
  • Provide administrative support during peak sales periods
  • Communicate with internal departments to resolve service requests
  • Track and report on sales metrics and team performance
  • Assist in onboarding new sales team members
  • Prepare contracts and sales agreements for review
  • Monitor and update CRM entries regularly
  • Support coordination of marketing and sales initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal documentation policies
  • Respond to customer inquiries under supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information
  • Assist in preparing monthly sales summaries
  • Liaise between technical and sales departments as needed
  • Track equipment and software licenses for sales use
  • Help organize sales training sessions
  • Manage travel arrangements for sales personnel
  • Follow up on outstanding sales documentation
  • Assist with event planning for client engagements

Nice to Have

  • Experience in technology or software industry
  • Background in customer-facing sales roles
  • Advanced skills in Excel and reporting tools
  • Prior use of Salesforce or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of inventory tracking systems
