Saint Luke's Health System, a faith-based, nonprofit, and locally owned health system striving for excellence in patient care, is looking for a Nurse Abstractor. In this role, you will review medical records to identify risk factors and update patient data, directly impacting patient outcomes and experience. This is a remote position that requires your residence to be within the Kansas City metro area.
What You'll Do
- Review scanned medical records
- Identify patient risk factors
- Keep new patient information updated for future visits
- Pull in outside records into the chart from Care Everywhere when available
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of applicable clinical experience
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Associate Degree in Nursing or a related field
