Motorola Solutions is hiring a North America Test Engineering Manager to ensure the highest quality standards for our products. You will lead the strategy, development, and execution of product testing, managing a team while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver projects on time and within budget.

What You'll Do

Develop and implement a comprehensive test engineering strategy aligned with business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Test Engineers, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and career pathing.
Oversee the entire product testing lifecycle from requirements analysis to defect tracking and reporting.
Collaborate with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to integrate testing into the product development process.
Allocate and manage testing resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget.
Establish and maintain high standards for product quality and reliability.
Identify and mitigate potential testing risks and challenges.
Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress and product quality to senior management.
Research and implement new testing technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the test engineering function.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and timely completion.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and milestones.
Manage test environments and tools.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
8+ years of experience in Test Engineering.
Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams.
Strong background in LabView Development Experience.
In-depth Knowledge in Hardware and RF testing principles and applications.
Extensive Programming experience in C, C#, and C++.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with various testing methodologies (e.g., agile, waterfall) and test automation frameworks.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Demonstrated experience with product development life cycles and quality assurance processes.
