Hotel Equities is looking for a Night Auditor to join our team at Mainstay Suites Watford City, ND. In this key overnight role, you'll be responsible for front desk operations, guest service, and ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions.
What You'll Do
- Check guests in and out, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services.
- Collect required identification at check-in in line with local legislative requirements.
- Answer phones and handle all guest calls, messages, questions, and service requests.
- Up-sell rooms to maximize hotel revenue and record guest preferences in the system.
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures.
- Resolve any late or disputed charges and manage guest safe-deposit boxes.
- Take action to solve guest problems using appropriate service recovery guidelines.
- Book, update, and cancel guest reservations as requested.
- Communicate outstanding guest issues to management and follow all hotel safety protocols.
- Work as part of a team, communicating with other departments to ensure quality service.
- Perform other assigned duties such as room tours and concierge services.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma, Secondary qualification, or equivalent.
- Ability to frequently stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to handle objects and computer equipment.
- Basic computer skills to operate property management and reservations systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
