Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Palo Alto firewalls serving manufacturing, R&D, and office networks.
- Apply rule modifications, NAT adjustments, and policy optimizations in alignment with global security standards.
- Perform troubleshooting using packet captures, security logs, and root cause investigations.
- Enforce network segmentation between engineering labs, fabrication environments, test networks, and corporate systems.
- Verify that segmentation mechanisms comply with global security policies.
- Support on-premises and cloud-based proxy services for users in Shanghai and across APAC.
- Manage updates to content categories, URL filtering rules, and SSL decryption settings.
- Address access problems related to proxy usage by users and applications.
- Operate and maintain Global Protect solutions for secure remote connectivity in APAC.
- Diagnose authentication, connectivity, and routing issues within hybrid Active Directory setups.
- Carry out authorized changes to regional firewall, segmentation, VPN, and proxy configurations.
- Assist in responding to network security incidents alongside global security teams.
- Keep local documentation, device lists, and change records up to date.
