About the Role
The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across multiple locations and cloud platforms. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on technical execution.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy enterprise-grade network solutions
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers
- Support hybrid cloud and on-premises network environments
- Implement network security policies and protocols
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments
- Optimize network configurations for reliability and speed
- Document network architecture and change management procedures
- Respond to network outages and provide escalation support
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance standards
- Upgrade network hardware and firmware as needed
- Integrate monitoring tools for proactive alerting
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies
- Coordinate with vendors for service delivery and support
Nice to Have
- Experience in legal or professional services environments
- Working knowledge of zero-trust network architectures
- Familiarity with SASE frameworks
- Prior exposure to large-scale network migrations
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
