L.A. Care Health Plan is hiring a Net Developer II to design and develop .NET Web applications, web services, and windows applications. Working under senior supervision, you'll support existing applications and maintain our Intranet infrastructure using C#.NET and modern web technologies.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and support .NET applications.
- Maintain effective security aligned with HIPAA, state, and federal requirements.
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions to design, code, and test new Windows and web software applications.
- Create technical specifications and test plans.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Administer the Intranet and maintain existing intranet web applications with 99.99% availability.
- Develop and maintain MSSQL and PL/SQL databases in support of developed .NET applications with 99.99% availability.
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Related Field (or equivalent education/experience).
- At least 4 years of experience developing .NET applications using C#.NET on Visual Studio 2010/2013.
- At least 2 years of experience with MSSQL 2010/2012 and Oracle 10g/11i/12c.
- Experience in developing solutions using ASP.NET, MVC 4.0, and Restless web services using SQL Server 2010 & 2012 as backend.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must acquire and enhance technological expertise by becoming current with evolving systems programming, analysis, and database technology.
- Must develop, foster, and maintain an open, professional relationship with other team members within IT and other departments.
Nice to Have
- Master's Degree in Information Technology or Related Field.
- Knowledge of Oracle 12c & PL/SQL Development.
- Experience with Software development life cycle.
