About the Role
The role involves managing and enhancing Enterprise Resource Planning systems used by the Navy, focusing on data accuracy, system functionality, and regulatory compliance. The specialist will work closely with technical and operational teams to maintain and improve ERP performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot Navy ERP platforms to ensure continuous operation
- Support integration of financial and logistics data within ERP systems
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense data standards and protocols
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement system updates and patches
- Diagnose and resolve data synchronization issues across modules
- Assist in user training and documentation for ERP functionality
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimization strategies
- Facilitate data migration during system upgrades or enhancements
- Work with stakeholders to define ERP requirements and workflows
- Validate data integrity across financial, supply, and maintenance modules
- Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate system records
- Troubleshoot user access and permission issues
- Coordinate with security teams to uphold system accreditation
- Document system configurations and change management activities
- Assist in testing new ERP features and functionalities
- Provide technical guidance during ERP incident response
- Ensure alignment with federal financial reporting standards
- Track and report on system utilization metrics
- Participate in cross-functional integration planning
- Maintain awareness of ERP-related cybersecurity requirements
- Support configuration management processes
