The Multi-Cloud Engineer designs and maintains secure, resilient cloud environments on AWS and Microsoft Azure, ensuring alignment with NIST 800-53 security controls. This role leverages Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools to support federal workloads and operates within an Agile delivery model. A current Top Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms
- Develop automation using CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud-native monitoring solutions
- Ensure cloud architectures, configurations, and workflows comply with NIST 800-53 security standards
- Engage in Agile practices including sprint planning, standups, and backlog refinement
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and compliance records
- Engineer secure cloud solutions incorporating NIST 800-53 controls across access, audit, configuration, contingency, identification, system integrity, and security planning families
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Bicep, and integrate automated compliance validation into CI/CD pipelines
- Design secure networking including VPCs, VNets, private endpoints, firewalls, routing, and identity integrations
- Conduct security assessments of cloud services and enforce continuous compliance scanning
Requirements
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD technologies
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53 security and compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting FISMA and FedRAMP authorization processes
- Familiarity with security automation tools such as conformance packs, OPA policies, Azure Policy, and Service Control Policies
- Active Top Secret clearance

- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
- Background in serverless computing platforms

Compensation
