Pure Storage is hiring a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) to join the Fusion Product Team. You will lead the engineering of an industry-first, self-service storage platform that redefines the Modern Data Experience. This role is central to building resilient, distributed control systems that allow customers to manage storage as a flexible, pooled resource across our portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Architect and implement resilient, distributed control systems and scalable transactional processing engines for the Fusion platform.
- Lead the development of declarative, intent-based policy management engines for seamless integration across FlashArray, FlashBlade, and Pure1.
- Drive key service delivery and automation capabilities for defining and delivering storage platforms.
- Define and build robust API libraries and the business logic layer for provisioning and managing storage resources.
- Contribute as an early team member to critical architectural decisions and codebase development from concept through GA.
What We're Looking For
- Deep expertise in the full software product lifecycle, from concept through MVP, GA, and mature product support.
- Exceptional proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or C++, with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and complex software design.
- Proven ability to architect distributed systems, scalable platforms, and microservices with a focus on high availability and performance.
- Demonstrated experience in API creation, design, and implementation, specifically for business logic layers and developer interfaces.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with cross-functional peers and drive solutions to production.
- Ability to work from the Bengaluru, India office in compliance with Pure’s in-office policies.
