LiveFlow is hiring its first dedicated Motion Designer. You will own how our products move, defining the motion language from scratch. You'll build the system engineers use and collaborate with product designers and engineers to ship animations that improve the user experience.
What You'll Do
- Design UI animations, micro-interactions, and transitions across products.
- Create loading states, onboarding flows, and moments of delight that elevate product experience.
- Build a motion design system — defining principles for timing, easing, and movement that scale consistently.
- Collaborate with product designers and engineers, and get into the codebase to implement animations in production.
- Bridge the gap between design and engineering.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in motion design with meaningful product/UI animation work.
- Strong portfolio showing shipped product animations.
- Proficiency with Figma and prototyping motion within design workflows.
- Comfort working in code — whether that's CSS animations, Framer Motion, Lottie, Rive, or similar.
- Deep understanding of animation principles and how they translate to product interfaces.
- Self-directed and comfortable owning a discipline independently while collaborating closely with design and engineering.
Nice to Have
- Experience producing video content, motion graphics, or brand animation.
- 3D skills (Cinema 4D, Blender) for product visualizations.
- Experience in fintech, accounting software, or B2B SaaS.
- Experience building or contributing to a motion design system.
