Scale Army is looking for a Motion Designer to translate raw client input into polished, on-brand motion designs that bring ideas to life through modern, cinematic storytelling. You'll work within a creative, forward-thinking organization to shape creative direction, source references, and execute motion graphics that are intentional and visually engaging.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with teams to understand project requirements, brand vision, and creative expectations.
- Develop creative concepts, pull visual references, and define the overall style and direction for motion projects.
- Create visually compelling motion graphics, animations, and video content for marketing and digital platforms.
- Develop story-driven animations that enhance brand messaging and engage audiences.
- Work closely with creative and marketing teams to refine designs and meet project goals.
- Implement client and stakeholder feedback efficiently to deliver final products that exceed expectations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality.
- Maintain cohesive visual identity across all motion design projects.
- Incorporate smooth transitions, refined animations, and thoughtful storytelling into every deliverable.
- Stay current with trends in motion design to continually elevate the brand’s visual presence.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, and video content creation.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong design sensibility with an excellent understanding of visual rhythm, pacing, and storytelling.
- Ability to translate creative concepts into cohesive and compelling motion design.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to feedback and evolving creative directions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Figma.
- Familiarity with AI generative design tools (e.g., MidJourney, Runway, or similar).
