Royal BAM Group is hiring a Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team delivering building maintenance services for the Merseyside Police contract. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of multiple sites, focusing on both planned and reactive maintenance tasks while working to meet all contractual targets.
What You'll Do
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete associated reports and paperwork.
- Respond to Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks with appropriate documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rota to provide full out-of-hours client cover.
- Assist other team members as required or directed by the Contracts Manager.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within contractual timescales.
- Proactively work to reduce energy consumption on site.
- Oversee visiting sub-contractors regarding work standards and Health and Safety.
- Adopt a flexible approach to assist at other properties within the portfolio.
- Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
- Perform all duties in a safe and diligent manner in line with company policies and Health & Safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Full Commercial Gas Certificates.
- Proven experience in the commercial field.
- Experience working within a mobile service delivery contract.
- An understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), service targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
- A strong customer care focus and good communication skills.
- A proactive approach, able to anticipate, diagnose, and repair faults.
- Capability to complete essential paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- A full UK driver's licence.
